Topics

Prerequisites

In order to fully appreciate this tutorial a basic knowledge of scientific computing, batch queue systems and Unix/Linux environment is required.

Participants are encouraged to also bring their own applications to the tutorial and try to run them on the grid. Statically linked executables compiled for the Linux x86 platform which don't require any software to be installed beforehand in the target cluster are the easiest.
