National test-beds for R&D in Grid-technology are now being set up in all the Nordic Countries. To ease the integration of Grid technology in the Nordic countries the research councils have decided to fund the Nordic DataGRID Facility, which aims to help build and integrate Grid initiatives in the member countries.
To help with this process we are currently looking to fill 3 Post. Doc./Research Assistant positions, one each in Denmark, Norway and Sweden respectively.
The successful applicant is expected to have extensive experience in system administration and development. Experience with Grid software and systems will be an advantage.
The applicants must have an affiliation with an agency (e.g. University, Institute) and for the period of the project (until 31/12 2004) payments of salary will be made through this agency with possible prolongation. Applicants must provide a letter from this agency, which states their willingness to host the Nordic DataGRID Facility Post. Doc./Research Assistant for the period in question. Salary level will be based on competence and experience and follow normal university levels for comparable positions.
